Every call starts the same way: "So, what's this going to cost me?" Fair question. A black car service costs $65–$125 for a flat-rate MSP transfer, or $65–$150 an hour for a charter, depending on the vehicle. The real number depends on which vehicle you need, how far you're going, and whether you're booking a one-way transfer or blocking out a few hours. Here's the actual breakdown, not a "starting at" figure designed to get you on the phone.

Flat-rate transfers around the Twin Cities run $65–$125 depending on vehicle class, with a sedan at the low end and the Cadillac Escalade at the top. Groups in a Sprinter or shuttle run $175–$350 flat. A 15% gratuity is already built into every flat-rate MSP transfer, the price you're quoted is the price you pay, flight delays included. Hourly charter rates don't include gratuity.

What actually determines the price
Four things move the number, and none of them are "how badly you need it":
- Vehicle class. A sedan and a 12-seat Sprinter aren't priced the same, more seats and luggage capacity cost more to run.
- Flat rate vs. hourly. One-way transfers are priced by zone. Anything with multiple stops or open-ended timing is priced hourly instead.
- Distance from MSP. Downtown Minneapolis and Edina cost less than Stillwater or Wayzata, it's a straight zone table, not a meter.
- Group size. Not what you need, but what it forces you into, six people and their luggage means an SUV whether you wanted one or not.
What doesn't move the number: what time your flight lands, how delayed it is, or how many other people are trying to book a ride at the same moment. That's the whole point of a flat rate. It's also a regulated one, Minnesota's for-hire vehicle rules, set by the Minnesota Department of Transportation, require the licensing and insurance a black car carries that a personal rideshare vehicle doesn't.

How to get the best value
- Book the flat rate, not the meter. If your trip is a straight A-to-B, a flat rate locks in the number the moment you book, traffic and detours are our problem, not yours.
- Right-size the vehicle. A party of four in a Cadillac Escalade costs more than the same four in a Luxury SUV. Book for the group you actually have.
- Switch to hourly for multiple stops. Three flat-rate one-ways in a day usually costs more than a single hourly block covering the same ground.
- For 8–14 travelers, price the 14-Passenger Shuttle before the Sprinter. Per-seat cost usually comes out lower once you're past a full Sprinter's capacity.
